How long has Amtek been in the service industry?
Since our establishment in 1980! Amtek was founded by ex-HP Field Services Engineers. Amtek started servicing the HP 1000, then the 3000 and now the 9000. We have expanded our service offerings over the years to support other manufacturers such as SUN and STK.

The Mfg says that they are the only ones who can service my equipment, is this true?
This is common tactic used by the Mfg and is referred to as FUD (Fear Uncertainty Doubt). This is totally false. The Mfg also does a very good job of putting tremendous amount of pressure on customers to make decisions. Amtek does not use such tactics. We are a service organization that has spent time and money to invest in the resources to delivery quality service. Amtek is here to cater to your service needs.

Why use Amtek for service when we can use the OEM?
The Mfg’s number one priority is not support! It is selling you new equipment! Amtek is strictly a support center. Therefore, responses are better and cost of maintenance decreases. We understand on how to deliver service. "We have walked the walk and we know what works and what doesn’t."

How long have Amtek’s consultants been in the service industry?
Amtek only employs seasoned professionals. Each service consultant has a minimum of (10) years experience in the service industry. They know what works and what doesn’t. "They have walked the walk."

Spare and Replacement Parts
Every Amtek customer will have the ability to have on-site spare parts for mission-critical equipment. Non-mission critical replacement parts are available through out the country with our various partners and will be delivered to the customer site the next business day.

Amtek Customer Service Center
When a service call is placed with our dispatch center you will receive a WO# (Work Order Number) and that number is placed in our call tracking system. Amtek’s customer support center continually logs and tracks engineers status on all open calls to make sure that you are taken care of and updated in a timely manner.
