
Van Boone, President & CEO
Van Boone has an extensive career in the computer, printer, and technology industry. Over his 29-year career, Van has served in several senior executive roles primarily with ADP in their technology sector. Some of those roles include Division Director of Business Development, Director of Technical Services – Western Region, and Regional Services Manager – Western Region. While in those roles he helped ADP grow their technology services sector in to a multi-million dollar business unit which ultimately allowed clients to have a one-stop shop solution for all its services. His various roles have allowed him to work with and garner significant deals with major manufacturers (Dell, IBM, DEC, Lexmark and others) along with a myriad of Fortune 500 companies. Van Boone’s vast experience includes sales, service, logistics and implementation services. Moreover, because of his contributions and success has achieved a number of President Club attendances and associated awards.
Van earned his B.S in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. He also attended Control Data Institute in Dallas, Texas and obtained their computer certification.
Edwin Sabado, Technical Services Executive
Edwin Sabado has over 18 years of computer and network experience and more than 12 years in system administration, system development, and management of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for a Medical Device Manufacturing Company.
He has a strong commitment to operational excellence and an innovative approach to IT problems. Edwin has executed several major projects which include analyzing, designing, and deploying a LAN/WAN in several sites throughout the United States. Edwin assisted on the deployment of an Oracle ERP system, Exchange, and CAD/business applications company-wide. He installed and supported BreezeNet, OverLAN wireless units, and a video conferencing unit to interface with several sites in United States.
Edwin holds a CNA/CNE (Certified Netware Administrator/Certified Netware Engineer) and MCSE 4 (Microsoft Certified System Engineer) certifications.
Garth Nielsen, Corporate Accounts Service Manager
Garth Nielsen has 19 years of Service Management experience within the technology industry. He continues to maintain his "Master Technician" status with manufactures such as Sharp, HP, Lexmark, Samsung, Muratec and Brother. Garth previous achievements with three factory authorized dealers included being recognized as Senior Technician, Service Manager, and Director of Service before joining AMTEK in 2009. His experience and "customer first" attitude will continue to drive AMTEK service fulfillment into the Managed Print Services era while focusing on our core business customers.

John Comes, National Sales Executive
John Comes joined the Amtek team in 2010. While consider ing several job opportunities including high profile corporations he chose Amtek as he felt his proven sales skills would make a significant impact to the growth of the company in a very short period of time.
John possesses 15 years of experience in information technology sales and his career highlighted by a successful track record working with Fortune 1000, Federal Government, and Reseller Channel markets.
Prior to joining Amtek, John worked for MPC Computers and Gateway were he led their respective Nationwide Channel Sales efforts over the last 11 years. While working at MPC he was responsible for supervising a nationwide channel account base and during a 7 year period he successfully grew his book of business from $7M to over $40M.
John has worked with federal end users, government contractors, leading resellers and systems integrators resulting in multiple multi-year GWAC contracting wins, including the IRS $1.5M, Army National Guard $6.5M, US Air Force $6M.
John earned is degree in Political Science from California State University Long Beach. Due to his hard work and success he is the proud recipient of Multiple Presidents Club awards
